Father and Son Charged with Assaulting Nairobi Businessman
The court heard that the duo willfully and unlawfully assaulted Daniel Mulati Barasa, causing bodily injuries.
A father and son have been charged in a Nairobi court with assault occasioning bodily injuries to a businessman.
Charles Odhiambo Akal and his son Edwin Ochieng Odhiambo, alias Eddy, appeared before the Milimani Principal Magistrate Irene Thamana and denied the charges levelled against them by the prosecution.
The court heard that the duo willfully and unlawfully assaulted Daniel Mulati Barasa, causing bodily injuries.
The alleged offence took place on January 31, 2026, in Upper-Hill Kibra Sub-county within Nairobi County.
They prayed to be released on a bond of KSh 10,000, the amount they deposited with the police.
They were released on a bond of KSh 15,000 with one contact person each.
